The Annual Lambton College Arts Collective Show was held in November at Sarnia's arts gem, The Lawrence House gallery.
Titled Sustenance - By art, I am nourished; Through art, I endure, the show filled the two floors of the Lawrence House with the creative works of Lambton's Digital Photography students, as well as student work from Ceramics, Culinary Management, Drawing, and Creative Writing.
At the opening night event, attendees were greeted by amazing entertainment, food and drink. It was a packed house of proud students, family, faculty and dignitaries. Sarnia's Mayor Mike Bradley and Lambton College President Judy Morris were active participants in the evening, speaking to the guests and playing key roles in selecting winning art.
This special night really kicks off the school year for our "arts" students. It is an exciting event to have their work showcased at such a gathering.
Many, many thanks to all involved, but special kudos to the real leader of the concept: Lois Nantais
